An impending lockdown for a month in AJK has at least reminded us that we are - after all - part of a rapidly shrinking world.
We may not have access to most of the positive aspects of globalisation but we are deeply mired in its negative outfall.
Over the past few weeks I have tried my best to avoid the subject of Corona or it's technical term Covid-19, hoping that it wouldn't become the pandemic that it has.
Once we get over this, I look forward to returning to the subject of globalisation and its impact on this territory that has been hidden behind the heavy curtains of Indian and Pakistani nationalism, by the outgoing British empire in and since 1947.
