My 0600hrs daily Facebook Live presentation is also regularly being broadcast many an hour late every day. We are all responsible for the delay in reaching our common destination. The following is the most up to date status of the 38 point charter of demands presented by the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee, agreed in writing in a time-bound manner by representatives of the State of Pakistan on 4 October 2025, otherwise referred to as the 'Muzaffarabad Agreement'.

English translation:
If talks (on the 30th of May 2026) between Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) and (representatives of the State of Pakistan) continued for 9 hours, (it should be noted) that 7 hours were devoted to discussing the 37 other demands included in the Charter.
In this context, neither any journalist or the government makes any mention of this (point).

- 10 billion rupees for improving the electricity infrastructure has not been received
(Point 8)
- 5 billion rupees related to health infrastructure is still pending
(Point 7 & Point 7 of additional points)
- A committee has yet to be formed regarding perks & privileges of bureaucrats & politicians
(This was the 3rd demand after flour & electricity from the outset. Also related to Point 13 of additional points)
- High Court decision (on environmental conditions) of 15 November 2019 has yet to be implemented
(Point 4 of additional points)
- Bank of AJK could not be given the status of a scheduled bank
(Again amongst initial demands soon after abolition of perks & privileges)
- Local Government Act (1990) appears to be a victim of cuts

- Affectees (indeed victims) of Mangla Dam have not received their right of ownership (Point 4 of main points & point 11 of additional points)
- The prospect of an Accountability Act remains remote
(related to Point 10)
- Kahori to Kamsar tunnel project appears static despite the availability of funds
(Point 11)
- (Deliberately) weak internet & mobile communication services have not been addressed (amongst initial demands at outset)
- We don't know what happened to the feasibility report for reconstruction of the Kahuta (Pakistan) to Azad Pattan (AJK border with Pakistan) road
(Also amongst early demands at outset, while related to Point 7 of main points & Point 11 of additional points)
- E-tendering of electricity meters remains pending
(related to Point 8)
- (The people of AJK) are still being supplied (outdated & insect infected) wheat from Ukraine
(Part of 1st demand partially resolved with flour subsidies in May 2024)
- Prospective (and promised) solid waste management projects remain confined to announcements
(A long standing public demand even pre-dating the emergence of JAAC in 2023)
- We don't know what's happening with our demand for the restoration of student unions
(Amongst early demands of JAAC)
- We remain (totally) un-informed about the water supply schemes promised
(Related to Point 4,5 & 10 of additional points)
- We await with bated breath (a sense of thirst) on the fulfilment of promises related to facilities for District Headquarters & Tehsil Headquarters (medical facilities)
(Related to point 7 of main points & point 6 of additional points)
- The promises related to the reconstruction of the bridges at Gulpur & Rehman (near Kotli) remain just promises

All these aforementioned (pending/unfulfilled written promises) have been discussed in the negotiations. Why doesn't everybody reference them or even discuss them?
