Day 142 and it coincides with a provisional government declaration in this territory 79 years ago (24 October 1947).
If that declaration is to be understood as a genuine reflection of those that rebelled against the autocratic Dogra regime, then it would be equally clear that those public aspirations were consequently hijacked and we have suffered since.
Can we bring our public back to that original constitutional position? What will be discussed in public at Eidgaah, Dreak in Rawalakot today will provide more than a clue, as to whether we can convert our rights movement into a (self) responsible movement cum authority cum government.
