All ruined nations that have been mentioned in the Holy Qur'an,

not a single one of these nations were ruined because they

abandoned fasting, haj (pilgrimage) or zakat (alms-giving)....

Rather weighing less (goods on weighing scale), bribery, not delivering justice, usurping someone's right, contaminating (food, drink or other material), killing someone unjustly; indeed, if we put it in simple terms it is the duties we owe to humanity (that we neglect and lead to the destruction of nations).

It is understood that Malik Waseem is due to 'appear' before DC Muzaffarabad today, after 16 days of solitary confinement in Raara jail, Muzaffarabad and still without access to a lawyer or legal defence of any kind.

Meanwhile, we are still working hard to get him a lawyer via an human rights organisation of global repute.

Update 1600hrs:

We understood Malik Waseem has been released but under what conditions is yet unclear. I haven't spoken to him yet but have requested sources to ask him to send an audio or written statement on the subject. If need be, we will also summon him to Shaheed Chowk Kotli.

It is quite revealing to note the comments on the following Facebook post, in reference to the K2 mountain range and the question as to which country it is located in. All comments unanimously describe it being in Jammu Kashmir & Allied areas (JKA). Whereas the outside world have always described it as being a part of Pakistan!

I have realised that if I want to give more output in public interest and avert the inevitable onslaught on our identity and territory, I have to adapt myself and change a few habits. That's not easy when aged 47 but its got to be done.

I've been following this movement for global activism on the environment for some time now and am astounded by their energy, organisation and dynamism. 

Here's an excerpt from their post:

"Since Monday 18th November more than five hundred people have taken part in the Global Hunger Strike. From Israel to India, Ecuador to Australia, New Zealand to the United Kingdom, we have all been united in our pain and our desperate desire for change. Day 11 of our current journey was of a typical Sunday, in the sense that public interaction was at a minimum.

It has generated a healthy debate, which is a good omen. Although, as you can assess from some of the comments selected below (taken from this video's comments section on Youtube) there is still a lot of spite and venom exchanged between Indians and Pakistanis:

Sanaskrit is written in sharda lipi

WAS. Japanese Sanskrit is still written in that Script and Tibetan/Burmese Script are Derived from Sharda script . Kashmir is TAPOBHUMI of RISHI kashyap the 18th Rishi of all 18 sages in ancient India who started first gurukuls. He took all those Varana who were left out by first 17 rishis.  My gotra is Kashyap too.

In 1947, Muslims were 9% in India,
Hindus were 14% in Pakistan and 25% in Bangladesh.
But in 2017, Muslims are 18% in India,
Hindus are 2% in Pakistan and 10% in Bangladesh.?

Salute to Tanveer AHMED and Supreme court of AJK for showing concern over the preservation and renovation of SHARDA TEMPLE .......their actions are slaps on Hindu fundamentalist society and the supreme court of india regarding their biased decision on BABRI MOSQUE


(My note: The above comment has of course 2 sides to it. There is still a lot of venom between some Indians and some Pakistanis. They need to come to terms with each other and learn to co-exist. In 1947, J & K had some example to set but it was swamped in the Indian partition mess that we are still trying to come to terms with. Let us do the necessary peace building, it will benefit the whole region and beyond, in every sense.)
