Day 109 of this war and it is still very tough work getting information & analysis out there to the wider world from the central hub of activism in Rawalakot, AJK. 

Needless to add, we are getting even stronger by the day and essentially waiting for our adversaries to realise how weak they actually are.

Day 104 already and this 5 day gap has been amongst the longest in daily blogging since this war began on the 5th of June 2026.

It is also highly likely that the current volume & extent of human rights violations in AJK has eclipsed all other such events since the illegal entry of Pakistani forces under British command-and-control in 1947.

Meanwhile, the continued detention and torture of Shaukat Nawaz Mir (since 30 June 2026) has reached farcical levels, with the recent denial by the AJK government that he hasn't been arrested at all and is being sought by the authorities! 

Here's ample proof that they are lying through their teeth:

On Day 99 there doesn't seem to be any reason that a century (in days) of a peaceful war won't be completed tomorrow, as far as the people of the territory of AJK are concerned. As for the Pakistanis, this is a violent war to maintain their relevance - if not existence - in this territory. Yet no amount of provocation on their part will entice our people to pretend that this is some sort of conventional war between 2 equally equipped counterparts. 

This writer can provide many an anecdote of the ridiculous attempts by Pakistan to make this seem to be a war against terrorists, when in actual fact it is naked aggression on their part to cover up their inability to deliver governance. Indeed, the endemic corruption that they have become so addicted to.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 252 of 2026

Day 97 and we are nowhere near a solution. There are discussions going on in the background between the State of Pakistan's representatives - with AJK politicians part of the mediation process - and Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JK JAAC). Disturbingly, Pakistan's clandestine agencies are also a part of this discussion process, although thankfully it is only a discussion and not a negotiation. 

This writer is confident that JK JAAC can see through the deception, as the Pakistani State is only interested in crushing #RightsMovementAJK and its major proponent JK JAAC. We have noticed that the Pakistani army is working hard to sweeten the sentiments of the AJK public, particularly in Poonch where elections have not taken in 2 districts (7 of 33 constituencies viz. the districts of Poonch & Sudhnoti). Antics include driving by the outskirts of the sit-in protest and offering bottles of Pepsi, other food items and sometimes even cash in a miserable attempt to soften people's views, in consequence of the 200 or so co-citizens of ours that they have either killed and/or abducted presumed dead, since their fresh invasion on the 5th of June 2026.

Earlier, this morning this writer pillion rode with a gentleman who had just returned from visiting his 2 brothers held with hundreds of other 'prisoners' at Rawalakot police station, where there is barely space for accommodating 20 accused at one point in time. Most of these 'accused' are being held captive in the courtyard of the police station, with Pakistani Rangers standing guard along with local police. Many have been held captive without any due legal procedure - some have been there since the beginning of this war - and they given a measly meal just once a day. 

This gentleman has been trying to secure the release of his 2 brothers and the police are asking for 5 lakh rupees (bribe) each to secure their release! 

If all the above is not torture enough, many of these captives are also beaten mercilessly on a regular basis, for daring to protest peacefully for their rights.

Day 94 of a war diary that gets ever more ridiculous by the day as far as we - the public of AJK - are concerned. The Pakistani State is madly flapping away with one provocation after another, in a desperate attempt to redeem itself from an unredeemable situation, that it itself created with its characteristic stupidity and sense of false majesty. 

The following image provides the necessary writing on the wall. Not that the Pakistani State ever learns from repeating one unnecessary disaster after another, whereby its wicked combination of deception & aggression always falls flat on its face. It has got to be declared as possibly the sickest and most dangerous country in the world:

Day 93 it is and many cracks in the Pakistani armour are becoming increasingly apparent with the passing of each day and this was all predictable, if you are a keen monitor of events in AJK. 

Given that their so-called Rangers have proved unsuccessful, they are going for one last big push via their army. Not that they haven't tried that in disguise to date.

And Day 90 of this war is already here. It is a pity that - for security reasons and to save the lives, wealth & honour of our people - we cannot even fully disclose our strengths in relation to our beloved occupier to our immediate West. Suffice to say that the territory itself is a defining advantage that we have. 

Meanwhile, the Pakistanis continue to use every dirty trick in the 'book' and beyond it to desperately get their way. Yet, each dirty attempt falls back into their face. Ultimately, they will depart in the most humiliating of fashions. 

A couple of fresh examples may be cited:

For our co-citizens who travel back into the territory of AJK (particularly into the 2 districts of Poonch & Sudhnoti) from Pakistan, their vehicles are checked for food items and when found, the police (accompanied by Pakistani Rangers) demand the price of the food items from our co-citizens. If they don't pay, those food items are confiscated from them. 

There are also reports of flour mills in Poonch division not processing flour for local people's consumption but rather exporting that same flour to the neighbouring country of Pakistan, usually using the cover of darkness at night to do so. 

Meanwhile, JK JAAC has been very patient and even magnanimous at times in releasing Pakistani (or locals who aid the occupiers) security personnel, who occasionally are able to infiltrate the area where our sit-in protest continues into its 85th day, 5 days after this communications & commercial lockdown began on the 5th of June 2026.

Here's yet another example of what our people are put through, even in death:

Owais Ibrahim - a resident of Baloch (tehsil/subdivision in AJK) was injured as a result of firing by Pakistani forces and led for treatment to a hospital in Rawalpindi (Pakistan). He eventually succumbed to his injuries and his family were forced to pay 30,000 rupees to the Punjab Police, in order to retrieve his corpse.

We also understand that the UK parliament resumed after its summer recess yesterday. We look forward to further deliberation on the UK's unfulfilled legal responsibilities towards the State of Jammu & Kashmir since 1947.
