Daily Diary (DD) - Day 235 of 2026

0756hrs:

Well, we have reached the landmark of 80 days of incessant aggression on our territory by Pakistan.

Much needed food & medicine in Poonch continues to be cruelly thwarted by the country referenced above, that I repeatedly remind the world was created specifically for conflict and not for governance. Its amazing how so many people still get fooled by an imaginary sense of religious fraternity with Pakistan, planted by the very skillful colonial improviser Great Britain.

An interesting anecdote amongst many needs to be referenced in relation to the recent sham elections that partially took place in AJK recently:

A returning officer at a particular polling station in Mirpur division (on the 27th of July) counted the votes submitted at the end of the day and signed off according to the figures recorded and went home. About an hour later, he got a call asking him in an extremely aggressive voice as to where he was exactly? Upon providing details he was ordered to remain where he was and wait for someone to pick him up. About 10 minutes later a couple of Pakistani Rangers wagons approached him and ordered him to take a seat. He was then duly taken to the local Pakistani clandestine agency's office and asked furiously, as to who gave him permission to leave the polling station?

This returning officer meekly replied that nobody had given him any such instruction to remain at the polling station. He had completed his duties and filled out the results as they were. In response, he was informed that he was extremely fortunate that coincidentally the party (PMLN) that they had wanted to win this particular polling station, had in fact had most votes cast in its favour. Thus, he was free to go but not without a warning and lecture on understanding who actually runs the election process. That in future, he - the returning officer - should always bear that in mind!

Apart from the above anecdote, we are receiving many reports of local businesses being threatened in advance of the election, that if they did not cast their vote, their shops would be sealed and if they are renting the premises, that their contracts would be cancelled and that they would be evicted if they did not vote.

When we eventually witness the conclusion of this war on our territory, there will be much more ugly facts surfacing, as to what our people have undergone as collective punishment for exposing Pakistan's inability to govern this territory, or even their own country for that matter.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 233 of 2026

0743hrs:

This morning, we drag ourselves into Day 78 of Pakistan's aggression on AJK.

From within the territory of AJK, it became clear to us from the outset that our deceptive aggressors were finally giving themselves a final opportunity to understand that you can't fool all the people all the time.

Despite the loss of innocent human life on our part and all the associated human rights violations we have had to endure, a new dawn is becoming increasingly visible to our people. Especially if we continue building our self confidence as a nation and wriggle out of the ego issues that have killed internal merit over the past 79 years.

During this war, we have witnessed the blooming of local artistic expression (including that of our diaspora) as timely songs with timely lyrics continue to emerge with almost each fresh atrocity on our people.

Despite our extremely frail internet capabilities I will try and produce a list (and access to recordings) of such songs as soon as possible.

Talking of atrocities it appears that the Pakistanis have finally understood that there is no military solution for quashing our aspirations, as they now seem to be concentrating on extending their collective punishment ritual by studying the family trees of all activists (available via NADRA which is their ID card database), then summoning all family members (including children) to their offices.

Upon arrival, these family members are berated and ridiculed for being associated with these activists. They are informed that their ID cards were illegally procured and that they are liable of prosecution, which could entail 10 years in jail.

The whole point of this Gestapo like exercise is to persuade these family members to get their activist brothers, husbands, fathers and sons to surrender their peaceful activism and keep quiet in the face of all Pakistani atrocities.

This writer would suggest that the Pakistani State in its mental anguish to quell #RightsMovementAJK and crush its major proponent JK JAAC, it is resorting to every possible dirty trick it can possibly think of, in its dirty mind.

It also recognises that time is not on its side while also recognising that the people of this territory have all the time in the world.

They may even recognise that all these atrocities are paving the way for an independent State of Jammu Kashmir & Allied (areas) to resurface.

..

While we try and keep you updated with events on the ground, we will also try and keep you updated with developments in the United Kingdom, the land where this original sin (of denying JKA's independence in 1947) was conceived.

This writer is doing his utmost to have an open honest conversation with the UK public at large - via Instagram amongst other sources - on the viability of a UK wide voluntary lockdown, to express empathy & solidarity with the people of AJK (of whom as many as possibly 2 million reside in the UK) and persuade the UK government to fulfill its overdue legal responsibility for creating this dilemma in 1947.

A legal petition is also very likely to be submitted to an appropriate UK court to explore the reasons why the UK is refraining from going beyond expressing sympathy towards both peaceful protesters and their tormentors, who happen to be armed to the teeth using a monopoly on carrying arms in the region, donated to them by Great Britain itself in 1947.

If the UK is indeed monitoring developments very closely then they should be able to see the writing on the wall, as far as Pakistan's military exit from this territory is concerned.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 231 of 2026

0632hrs:

We have entered Day 76 of this war and there is still no end in sight. Some of the realities that have been established during this war include:

1) There is no scope for negotiations with the Pakistani State as they have absolutely no clue or experience of delivering governance. Not for their own people in Pakistan and certainly not for territories (like AJK & Gilgit Baltistan) that are not even a part of their country.

2) The Pakistani State totally relies on deception followed by aggression, followed by deception followed by aggression....recurring.

3) The Pakistani State relies on a perpetual conflict module for its existence and it has pretty much surrendered all its territory as collateral for the perpetual loans & favours it constantly seeks from the rest of the world. It wants to emulate the same model in AJK and Gilgit Baltistan. In other words, they want to put us up as collateral too. Hence, the ugly violence on our people.

4) The Pakistani State always sets itself up in negotiations with a maximalist (solely entitled) position, which ensures that they never succeed and they ultimately always have to resort to blackmail or violence to try and get their way. Whenever they get stuck they simply revert to deception. For example, making both verbal and written agreements before reneging or dishonouring them.

It should be remembered that this is a State designed by Britain for its own strategic interests and which most advantage has been taken by the United States of America, given Britain's subsequent withering global influence.

Hence, this writer's focus initially (since the 29th of October 2025) to engage UK MPs of AJK origin in discussions on peace in this region, which they (all 11 of them) declined to engage in. Furthermore, while we still insist on UK MPs of AJK origin being the only possible (practical) mediators in this 76 day old conflict, we continue to pursue the possibility of a UK wide lockdown as a form of empathy/solidarity with our plight given the UK's colonial legacy, whilst we also pursue the possibility of submitting a legal petition to an appropriate UK court for remedy, given the original sin of infiltrating Pakistani and Indian troops into Jammu & Kashmir in 1947 without consulting the local population.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 229 of 2026

0618hrs:

It has crossed my mind many a time over the past 74 days of this war, that I am effectively writing war diaries every day. Each passing moment is a vivid memory of pain of the present and ever increasing aspirations for a better future without this aggressive and senseless country named Pakistan interfering in our territory, just to give itself some meaning, or what it considers to be meaning.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 228 of 2026

0641hrs:

On the 73rd day of this 'do or die' war imposed by Pakistan on the territory of AJK, we peacefully & probingly battle on, even as we endure casualties of our youth on an almost daily basis.

I am about to conduct a poll of our co-citizens in the UK, asking them whether we should submit a petition to an appropriate UK court in reference to (colonial) Great Britain's legacy of infiltrating Pakistani (through aggression) and then Indian (through intrigue) armed forces into the State of Jammu & Kashmir in 1947 under British command & control, in contradiction of their very own constructed power transfer legal mechanism viz. Indian Independence Act (18 July) 1947.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 226 of 2026

0700hrs:

We enter Day 71 of a lockdown in AJK imposed by the State of Pakistan, who will be celebrating the 79th year of their independence today. If I was in their shoes I don't know how I would reconcile such atrocity with such a celebration.

How can you celebrate independence while doing everything possible to crush the aspiration of independence of others?

Anyhow, let's return to the creators and original beneficiaries of Pakistan viz. Great Britain cum the United Kingdom.

The following delayed and generic response by the United Kingdom to one of their own MPs give an indication of how distant they are from reality and their own (legal) responsibility:

The following were Liam Byrne MP's notes attached with the above letter, available to read at this link

In June I wrote to the Foreign Secretary about Pakistan-administered Kashmir. This week I got a reply from the Minister, Stephen Doughty. The Government says it is "seriously concerned" and following developments closely. But for families here who are still unable to contact relatives, that is not yet an answer. I'll keep pushing until there is one.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 225 of 2026

0720hrs:

Our daily routine to access the internet at speeds capable of uploading videos, involves a lot of travelling at pre dawn. It sounds difficult but as its a matter of 'do or die' for our people, it feels so normal.

Likewise, despite entering the 70th day of a siege with all its pitfalls, it feels normal as we know we are finally navigating our nation out of a colonially imposed perpetual conflict model, that has lasted almost 79 years.

Meanwhile, the information we are getting from various polling stations is expectedly farcical and a mockery of democracy. For example, a polling station near my home village in Sehnsa had a total of about 100 voters come to poll their vote throughout the day. However, records from that polling station show a total of about 1,200 votes.

I still maintain that I don't think polling throughout the territory of AJK (26 of 33 constituencies) motivated much more than 5% of the voting population to turn out, while results are indicating that the turn-out is similar to that of elections in 2021! This is ridiculous if we take into consideration the evolution of #RightsMovementAJK over the past 5 years, adding to the bullet overshadowing this ballot.

Returning to the issue of UK MPs making presentations in Parliament and in light of their correspondence with their foreign Office, we are still some distance from the UK government fulfilling its legal responsibility to resolve this needless conflict. It is clear that the Pakistani State is using as much force and deception as it thinks it can get away with, while the UK government continues to 'diplomatically' urge it to cease its collective punishment of our people. It is obvious that the UK needs to take restraining measures to oblige the Pakistani State to stop. Ultimately, it will have to reverse its decision in 1947 to facilitate Pakistan's military presence in this territory.

On our part, we are leaving no stone unturned and continue engaging openly with the UK public, to act in solidarity with us with reference to a lockdown there. Exploring legal options against the UK government is also in process.

....

JK JAAC (Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee) have finally mutated away from the 38 point charter of demands (realising that the Pakistani State has absolutely no intention or even ability to fulfill them and that is precisely why our people are being killed):

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 224 of 2026

0705hrs:

We battle on (peacefully & strategically) on a daily basis and have to undergoe plenty of impediments in order to deliver something in writing to you (our worldwide audience) every day.

One of the sticking points of our people's strategy to bring the Pakistani State to task, is whether we pursue the United Nations for implementation of their long standing resolutions or whether we pursue the United Kingdom for creating this mess in the first place.

My response to the following Facebook post is one such case in point:

It should be noted that Britain facilitated the entry of Indian & Pakistani troops into the State of J & K without consulting the people & by breaking it's own rules (legal/constitutional) framework for power transition viz. Indian Independence Act 1947. Shifting this matter to the UN under Chapter 6 (non enforcement capability of resolutions) was a clever ploy to deflect blame from Britain.

It should also be noted that the dilemma of any of P5 veto-ing any fresh resolution is difficult to overcome. Just take the example of Gaza. Getting the United Kingdom to accept its legal responsibility for creating this mess for its own strategic benefit is more practical in my opinion, than taking the UN route. We have UK MPs of AJK origin at our disposal as well as other constituencies where our people's votes matter, as well as over a century of our people living in that country to obtain empathy & solidarity from the UK public at large.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 223 of 2026

0613hrs:

On Day 68 of this pathetic onslaught by the State of Pakistan on AJK, we are much stronger than we thought we would be - under an almost complete communications & commercial lockdown - since the 5th of June 2026.

No doubt this onslaught has brought our people together like never before.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 222 of 2026

1001hrs:

We are intensifying our legal & diplomatic efforts to resolve this pathetic aggression on our soil by the Pakistani State.

I wonder if the United Kingdom wouldn't mind being divided into 2 or 3 parts with each part being 'administered' by 3 different European countries in their neighbourhood....

..

The above is less than half of what I wrote yesterday morning (on the time shown on Day 221 of 2026).

Let me now try and rewrite what I wrote then, before net ailments (purposefully imposed by 'you know who') undid what I wrote.

..

I also wonder if the United Kingdom would prefer a Pakistani style ignorant militarily monopolised economy & society, that thrives on loans from the rest of the world and contracts to kill others, while being unnacountable to nobody except those who provide these opportunities, even that momentarily while the 'loan' is being processed or the 'contract' is being negotiated.

I think not!

Then what were the forefathers of the United Kingdom thinking when they deliberately brought this (Pakistani) State into being in 1947?

These and much more probing questions will have to be answered by the UK government in due course, in light of the killing spree of the Pakistani State in AJK for the past 67 days and what they've imposed on us since colonial Britain orchestrated the invasion of Jammu & Kashmir - by utilising the predecessors of this Pakistani military - almost 79 years ago.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 220 of 2026

2037hrs:

I'm working hard using whatever means possible, to maintain daily contact with the world, despite enduring 65 days of an almost complete communications & commercial lockdown throughout the territory of AJK, thanks to Pakistan's desperate attempt to hang on to this territory despite the amount of water that has flown under this bridge.

Some of the antics that the Pakistani State is conducting to give a sense of normalcy is bewildering to say the least!

Just yesterday, in Rawalakot city Pakistani Rangers (a paramilitary force that Pakistan have engaged in thousands to suppress the people of AJK) were engaged in enticing people to come and register for flour and other essentials, while taking details of their 'National' ID cards and taking their thumbprint impressions, both of which are supposedly essential for casting a vote! Elections are supposedly due in Poonch division on the 10th of August 2026 (3 days away!) and this can be explained as one form of pre poll rigging.

Furthermore, today we learn that 4 politicians (2 from each of PPP & PMLN) travelled to AJK via helicopter and both will alternate in campaigning in the 2 districts of Bagh & Haveli! It is bemusing as to whether both parties are collaborating or competing for seats!

It is a fact that on average less than 5% of total voters in Mirpur & Muzaffarabad divisions actually visited polling stations on their respective election dates of 27 July and 2nd August.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 219 of 2026

0608hrs:

I continue to stretch my energy levels at the age of 54, in order to bring you on-the-ground details and/or analysis of this pathetic war imposed by Pakistan on AJK, now into its 64th day of 'execution'.

We are straining to collect precise and up-to-date data on the human cost of this war, though an almost complete communications black-out is hampering this objective:

Since 5 June 2026, at least:
200 killed (or missing presumed dead)
1,000 injured
2,000 arrested
Many thousands more harassed, properties damaged, businesses sealed, FIRs lodged etc.

Thankfully, there is also a dedicated web portal that is logging human rights violations in our territory and this should gradually prove to be an invaluable reference viz. Jammu Kashmir Human Rights Observatory

We are of course using every peaceful means possible to avert this mayhem and our diaspora is as practically involved as we are in pursuing a permanent end to this war.

Examples of angles pursued:

1) First and foremost, an on-the-ground peaceful rights movement in AJK, which has gradually obtained the support and potential mobilisation of 90% of our population.

2) Creating awareness and mobilisation (wherever practical) of our diaspora throughout the world and especially in the United Kingdom, using peaceful protests & marches to highlight the plight of our people.

3) Alerting & informing all relevant human rights organisations (both at home & abroad) of factual details on the ground.

4) Engaging UK MPs (especially those of AJK origin followed by those parliamentary constituencies where our diaspora's vote is critical). The aim is to utilise them as the most appropriate form of mediation between an un-armed & practically disenfranchised population, up against a neighbouring country armed to the teeth and carrying a perception that they are the sole arbiters of this territory, while enjoying immunity from any form of prosecution for their aggressive intent.

It is encouraging to learn that Imran Hussain MP (Bradford East) and chair of APPGK (All Parties Parliamentary Group on Kashmir) has not only regularly raised his voice inside & outside parliament but has in fact also written to the Pakistani 'State' announcing his intent to mediate on this crisis. He hasn't received a response yet!

Meanwhile, this writer is intent on focussing on the United Kingdom's legal responsibility to tackle the unnecessary dilemma that it created (Jammu Kashmir as a territorial issue between neighbouring countries while practically subtracting the people), against the very rules that it created viz. Indian Independence Act 1947.

Given that UK MPs in general as well as the UK government in particular, are not going beyond making generic appeasing statements to both sides while professing to closely monitor the situation, it has become necessary to explore legal avenues to compel them to fulfill their legal responsibility.

We will begin by framing a petition in an appropriate UK court and if that is not accepted or if that doesn't provide legal remedy, we will explore the possibility of filing an application against the UK government in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at The Hague, in the Netherlands.

Simultaneously, we are trying to engage the UK public at large on the prospect of them empathising with our plight (born out of British colonial decision-making) and co-operating with a day's lockdown of the UK, given that we have entered our 64th day of an imposed lockdown.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 218 of 2026

0653hrs:

On the 63rd day of this pointless conflict imposed by Pakistan on AJK, many a positive point has emerged for public & national interest in this territory. It has galvanised 90% of our population to an extent unprecedented.

We've done the hard work but the easy part of this struggle to restore the 'Right to Rule' is not easy, given centuries of subjugation of our people.

We all understand the concept of 'ownership' but struggle to implement its criteria. This is now the major battle on our hands.

Perseverance breeds success if backed by independent research. We will get there.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 216 of 2026

0042hrs:

We have entered Day 61 of this senseless war imposed on us by Pakistan. There is now enough evidence surfacing that the Pakistanis have dug such a hole for themselves that there is no possibility of them getting out of it.

They will have to withdraw all their 'security personnel' from AJK. No amount of aggression & deception will ever work from now on.

After killing at least 200 of our people, injuring many hundreds more, targeting through arrests & harassment of more than a thousand of our co-citizens and imposing collective punishment on us all, they appear to be attempting a charm offensive by now adopting flowery language in official press conferences and even using their killer forces in Rawalakot city to offer food & medicine to those they have kept under siege for over 2 months!

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 215 of 2026

0436hrs:

For the past week or so - with a rising level of intensity - I have sensed that I need to now communicate with the world (and especially the UK, both government and people) on a daily basis, as opposed to the week long (and even longer) gaps exercised to date, since this idiotic conflict was imposed on us on the 5th of June 2026.

More so than writing, I sense the need to communicate via video podcast in English on a daily basis.

If we continue to fail in bringing this conflict to its natural end, I will contemplate engaging with the world (especially the UK) on an hourly basis in due course. Just in this past week (we have entered Day 60 today) we have witnessed over 50 deaths imposed on our people.

This killing spree is eerily almost representative of all 10 districts of AJK. We've suffered direct & targeted shooting of peaceful protestors by Pakistani Rangers in Rawalakot (Poonch), Mirpur, Kotli, Muzaffarabad & Neelam Valley; while those killed in Rawalakot on the 27th of July include victims from almost every district.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 214 of 2026

0336hrs:

It can be understood on this 59th day of an imposed war by Pakistan to cover up its incompetence to deliver 'governance' to AJK, that an 11 day lapse in daily weblogging is to be considered 'normal'.

Not only is our net connectivity extremely limited and confined to diminishing pockets of land where we are able to catch signals from the 'enemy country', our normal phone service is also extremely limited, especially in the epicentre of this do or die war in Poonch division.

Today's weblog will feature an open letter that I wrote to JK JAAC (Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee) given that there is still a gap between their understanding of the critical scenario we all collectively face in AJK and that of this writer.

Such gaps are inevitable and should be acknowledged as healthy differences between a diverse set of people; with varying levels of expertise, experience, exposure and skill sets.

This writer understands the immense responsibility on the shoulders of the core committee of JK JAAC and their need to play 'safe' in terms of public narrative. Rather than insisting that they change their narrative from a 'demands based' strategy to an 'ownership-building' strategy - it is more appropriate to regularly convey one's concerns and maintain engagement during these critical times - that are undoubtedly unprecedented in the 78 year history of AJK.

..

The following letter was written on the 26th of July 2026:

Open Letter to JK JAAC from JKA PUBLIC AGENCY

On the 52nd day of this imposed war by the Pakistani State (without genuine constitutional or legal basis) on the land & population of the territory of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, I (Tanveer Ahmed - an independent researcher supporting all public interest endeavours in this territory for the past 21 years) wish to put my concerns and reservations to you in an open, transparent & public manner; as it is most certainly a matter of life & death for #RightsMovementAJK in general, as well as Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee #JK #JAAC in particular.

In my opinion, it needs to be understood that whatever the Pakistani State says or does is a matter of ambiguity and deception. This is true to form of its record as a country since its birth in August 1947.

2 aims of the Pakistani State in this current war on the whole population of AJK are:

1) To totally crush any form of public rights movement in the territory - either through brute force where possible or by deception while using the sacred faith of Islam as a propaganda tool - with particular targeting of JAAC and its sympathisers, who in many estimations has reached 90% of the population.

2) To forcibly integrate AJK & Gilgit Baltistan into the Pakistani federation, in a similar manner to what India did on the other side of the LOC on 5 August 2019.

It is in such circumstances that I have regularly engaged with JAAC since the 10th of June 2026 (47 days ago when we all camped out at Eidgaah, Dreak, Rawalakot, Poonch and where we all remain).

I did intimate, advise & stress to all present core members from the 14th of June 2026 onwards - in written form - that JAAC should under no circumstances engage in direct talks with any form of representation from the State of Pakistan - without credible external mediation - which in my opinion could only be UK MPs of AJK origin, given Britain's colonial legacy and stakes of these MPs in our territory.

I also advised that JAAC should ask our diaspora to explore international legal options to make the State of Pakistan accountable for their unwarranted aggression.

On the 28th of June, in light of local public opinion analysing the prevailing scenario of the Pakistani State's continuous onslaught of killings, arrests and targeted torture of our activists; coupled with the non-commitment of the United Kingdom to fulfill its legal responsibilities: I advised JAAC to abandon their 38 point charter and concentrate on exercising the people's authority (ref. JKA PUBLIC AGENCY Note: #E212423062026 ).

Given that hitherto JAAC had strictly abided by the prevailing (clearly imposed) constitutional framework in AJK, despite it contradicting the 24th October 1947 provisional government declaration (born out of a rebellion against the autocratic ruler), the UN conflict resolution framework, the Pakistani constitution and all generally accepted universal human rights norms. I understood that to be a prudent strategy to focus on delivering basic needs to the AJK population, while avoiding the aggression of the Pakistani State wherever possible.

Now that aggression has come to the forefront of global attention, whereby the Pakistani State proved once again that it is not capable of abiding by its own (colonially crafted) laws, nor is it capable of fulfilling any verbal or written agreements. Rather it is only capable of wanton aggression or deceptive dialogue to try and get it's way.

I thus urged you - JAAC - to adopt a legal & constitutional stance that reflects our status as subjects cum citizens locally and what is confirmed by international law viz. that the inhabitants of this territory are the genuinely entitled, whereas India & Pakistan are claimants to our State, whose legality can only be derived from the local people's reference, without compulsion or enticement.

In this regard, I remind you that we - as a people under siege - can no longer afford that the Pakistani State dictate our defence, communications, currency & foreign policy. Not just because they never abided by any genuine legal procedure to obtain these public policy subjects but that they have abused whatever little trust our people had in them, irrespective of the Pakistani State's self-serving assumptions.

I for one - and I am sure that I speak for many others - cannot return to our homes in Mirpur division or Muzaffarabad division where our lives, wealth & honour continue to remain at the mercy of the Pakistani State.

We must exercise our right to self determination using our own initiative and our entitlement as State subjects cum aspiring citizens of an increasingly globalised world, just as most of the rest of the world has done, rather than naively await for some sort of green signal or non existent certification from elsewhere to protect our lives, wealth & honour.

Only the people of this territory can guarantee peace in this territory and only the people of Jammu Kashmir & Allied (areas) can guarantee peace in their State. 78 years of regional conflict have proved that neither India nor Pakistan, or even the rest of the world can guarantee peace here.

Thus, I urge JAAC to shift their strategy to an internally designed governance delivery model, that will revive a thousands of years old peace economy, rather than persist with an externally reliant demands based governance delivery model, that will do its utmost to try and kill us to prevent delivery, whilst inevitably keeping our future generations stuck in a conflict economy.

If you all recall my public briefing to JAAC on the 30th of March 2026 in Dadyaal, I did state that we have overcome the prevention of rights barrier constructed by Muzaffarabad in May 2024 and are on the verge of overcoming the prevention of rights barrier constructed by Islamabad (Pakistan), as they have no intention of fulfilling these 38 demands you have enlisted and will turn on you to try and cover their incompetence. The next (3rd) barrier is our own egos which we have to manage in order to drive forward this internally designed governance delivery model, that has taken 21 years of independent research to complete and which requires an internal public contract between each other to succeed. This will prepare us for an external public contract with the rest of the world, the last and final (4th) barrier.

Finally, I urge you to concentrate on restoring our 'Right to Rule' (Haq e Hukmrani) in Poonch division first, where the people's authority is operating effectively in response to the massacre of our people by Pakistani security forces on the 7th & 8th of June 2026 in Rawalakot. Those who can secure their territory can also rule over it.

Poonch division's success will be emulated by Mirpur division and then Muzaffarabad division, just like the beginning of #RightsMovementAJK in 2023 began here in Poonch, before being adopted by Mirpur and then Muzaffarabad. In this respect, I maintain my stance as from the outset (5 June 2026) that we need not converge on Muzaffarabad. It was a capital decided externally to focus our attention on Srinagar. That all changed on the 5th of August 2019 when the joint understanding of India & Pakistan to usurp our State became clear to the world. We also need to change in light of what the Pakistani State is trying to do since the 5th of June 2026.

If we remain stuck on the 2nd barrier (Islamabad), we are in danger of being usurped by Pakistan and they will tell the world that JAAC had no internal plan for governance delivery and that is why they kept on making demands to us, which created chaos in the AJK territory. This is why we had to crush them before integrating this territory into Pakistan.

That is not a reflection of reality in AJK or its people's aspirations & reservations. Let us not play into the hands of the aggressively deceitful Pakistani State.

Daily Diary (DD) - Day 235 of 2026
