Continuing on the journey of taking the camel laden with precious wisdom through the eye of a needle, we immerse ourselves further in human/data management so that we can manage the most strategically contested water, soil & waste in the world.

The financial resources needed to do so are modest but must fairly & equitably apply to each and every citizen of the territory of AJK. 

Indigenous Public to Public Interaction:

4) Investment in those Ideas >

Laying conditions & possibilities for achieving genuine public policy goals in AJK.

This is the latest example of incendiary rhetoric committed by a 'loyalist'* politician in #AJK

1) You should no longer use #India as a scare-mongering tactic to divert attention away from your ineligibility & incapability to govern this territory.

Do not hide behind India.

2) 'Aini haath' (constitutional fist) 

There was a lot of aggression in that expression and you have spun a constitutional trap for yourself. You cannot claim the mandate of the people if you have 'procured' your mantle as 'prime minister of AJK' #PMAJK through the assistance of another country. You have 'democratically disqualified' yourself from claiming that title. 

Your arguments against India are the arguments of #Pakistan 

We - the people/public - have our own arguments against India. It would be foolish of us to club our arguments with yours.

You are threatening to deprive us (the people/public) of our democratic rights through aggression and fairy tales about forefather's commitments etc.

You are threatening the geo-political neutrality of this territory and thus you are threatening the peace of this territory.

You will have to answer the 4 questions wanting of examination in reference to your 'foundational document' #24Oct1947 **

1) What happened to the people's reference ("the right of free self-government" as written in the declaration) post that date?

2) What happened to "entertain(ing) sentiments of the utmost friendliness and goodwill towards" our neighbouring dominions (now countries) of India and Pakistan?

3) What happened to "...securing to the people, including Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs" that "right of free self-government"?

4) When are you going to surrender to the 'Will of the People' as indicatively measured by 'Citizen Public Opinion Survey AJK - Report 2017' *** and currently being clinically measured by #AJKReferendum2023 **** ?

You can no longer enforce #IdeologicalApartheid in this territory from the barrel of a neighbour's gun.

You cannot use the licence 'of the people' against 'the people'.

Earlier in the day, rather in the very early hours of the morning (at 135hrs) I wrote the following note with global civil society in mind, in particular:

The political atmosphere in all districts of AJK at the moment is charged on an unprecedented scale.

Despite everything the public is pointed, disciplined and peaceful in its unrelenting demand for independence.

The manner of demand may be diverse and emerge from a range of emotions and ground realities that all derive from 75 years of neglect.

The inhabitants of AJK - in ever rising numbers - are in a state of defiance but remain pragmatic in the knowledge that their own survival is linked with that of their neighbours and the rest of the world.

If in the 15th amendment the word 'State' and reference to the UN are taken out then this would be considered to be a 'Pakistani 5 August 2022'. It will have no constitutional or legal status. The presence of Pakistan in Azad Kashmir has a different jurisprudence than that of India (in Jammu Kashmir).

The biggest question looming in every analyst's mind: Who is behind this 15th amendment?

Kashmir Council wasn't audited for 12 years according to this writer.

15th amendment will not only reverse all gains made in 13th amendment, it wll make KC the supreme constitutional authority over AJK, with absolutely no provision for accountability, transparency or merit. AJK government budget will be at their total mercy.

Tourism act will allow any Pakistani institution to take whatever land they see fit, irrespective of environmental or local needs.

According to the 13th amendment only the AJK Assembly can invoke legislation. For the Pakistan State to do so is unethical as well as unconstitutional (as it is trying to do in reference to the proposed 15th amendment). It also contradicts Article 257 of its own constitution.

It's a shame that I can't detail everything that I notice in public interest every 24 hours. The amount of calls I get on a daily basis informing me of something or the other that merits my attention is unmanageable. One such example was the following protest that blocked the main road between the district capital of Kotli in AJK and Rawalpindi/Islamabad in Pakistan at Potha in Sehnsa, my home subdivision. The issue: Many retired Pakistani army personnel of our territory have not been paid their pensions for months and I understand similar complaints have emerged from other parts of AJK too.

When momentum is on your side, many unexpected and even unrealistic events turn in your favour.

Publicity can go either way

I had 2 short but sharp exchanges with a couple of people today who I am carefully presuming to be Pakistanis, on holiday here in the Neelam Valley.

Example 1:
An old man called me a "Jahil ke bachey" (son of an ignorant/illiterate) for asking him to pass me in a narrow stretch of road where there was still enough space for him to comfortably pass by.

Example 2:
I was stopped by a car while it overtook me, whereby the gentleman in the passenger seat peeked his head out from behind a sun cover on his window to angrily inquire from me as to why I was flying a white flag on my vehicle. I calmly explained that I was promoting peace between 2 armies. His tone increased at my response and he in turn authoritatively informed me that only UN (United Nations) vehicles could fly a white flag in this territory. I remained calm and explained that the citizens of this territory are its exclusively legitimate stakeholders. He stared at me with disdain as if to say, "I will see to it, as to how much longer you'll continue flying a white flag in Neelam Valley!" and sped off.

Personally, I'm not sure how much longer I can tolerate imposed violence on my territory, just because it might suit my neighbour's warped interests.

Having cited these examples, it is important to point out that - in the main - Pakistani tourists flocking to AJK and in particular the Valley of Neelam has had a positive impact. Albeit more economic than social.

Some people may not believe me but I make a point of not interfering in politics within the State of Jammu & Kashmir. The following tweet has its own merit in public interest:

It began raining about an hour ago....a cool climax to a month of 16 hour daily fasts at the peak of the summer.

How and where to spend Eid:

We are on our way to the LOC and particularly those areas which have witnessed the brunt of Indo-Pak cross-fire. Various villages had been evacuated over the past year and their inhabitants are still reluctant to return for fear of losing what remains of their lives.

As it is unlikely that we'll be able to post anything while on the LOC, we would like to invite our co-citizens to spend or share some of their time in solidarity with these villages....From Dharamsaal in tehsil Hajeera to Polas in tehsil Abbaspur.

White Flags and asserting peace amidst two aggresive neighbours - who have little toleration for anything or anyone that doesn't agree with their particular sense of nationalism - no matter how un-natural or destructive for humanity their stance may prove to be - for a hard core activist in AJK is the most productive activity that one can imagine doing, at this specific point in time.
