1426hrs:
Last night in Lower Plate, Muzaffarabad 45 policemen and 10 plain-clothed personnel imposed a curfew and began stopping people at gun point to help them identify the houses of pro-freedom activists.
During this procedure electricity was also cut off as the police strolled the area from Lahori Hotel all the way throughout the neighbourhood. Many houses were raided and a large contingent of white clothed personnel made life hell for the residents.
Raids are being conducted at night, the peace of unarmed people is being disrupted and a very large crackdown has begun.
End of translation of FB post...
Despite this heavy crackdown, it appears that no arrests were made as none of the 'fugitive' activists they were after were found. However, they have taken the following action.
Here's a copy of the FIR launched against 11 pro-freedom activists:
The earlier detainees who had been released are yet to obtain their mobile phones back from the authorities of AJK, who claim that Pakistan's roving agencies have confiscated them. The names of those ex detainees whose mobiles are yet to be returned:
1) Sajaawal Khan
2) Farhaad Bhat
3) Hashim Qureshi
4) Raja Asad
5) Raja Inzimam
6) Hamza
.......
If Kartaarpur, why not Sharda?
The witch-hunt of AJK citizens opposed to the Pakistani narrative on Jammu & Kashmir continued throughout the night in Lower Plate, Muzaffarabad. The Pakistani agencies are doing their utmost to get as much work out of the AJK police and thus develop rifts within our society.

Meanwhile, the fate of the 37 prisoners lodged in Hajeera since the 7th of September had a couple of twists before it was finally resolved this morning at 0300hrs...
The custodians of the Pakistani narrative in AJK were having trouble swallowing defeat in Poonch and this may have factored into their knee-jerk operation in Lower Plate Muzaffarabad this morning.
Despite a decision by the AJK PM to unconditionally release all 37 political prisoners in Poonch at 1700hrs (5pm) yesterday evening, the Pakistani lent officers who administratively hover above the local AJK government set-up were obstructing their release. The chief secretary and IG (Inspector General of Police) in particular.
Apparently the PAJK PM had to stay awake till 0200hrs this morning when the notification for the prisoner's release was finally issued. They were released after an hour.
The welcoming rally in Rawalakot prepared for them the evening before could of course not be activated at this hour.
By this time, the operation in Muzaffarabad was in full swing......though this also did not deliver any results for the Pakistani State, except heightened resentment by the locals of this hapless territory we call AJK.
