Day 65 at Maqbool Bhat Shaheed Square - Dadyaal.
....
For the purpose of public interest and specifically to provide an opportunity to examine how some of the more educated people in our territory respond to our efforts to galvanise the public, I am providing the text of a conversation I had with one such person today (with his permission), namely Zahid Sarfaraz of Ali Sojal in tehsil Rawalakot (Poonch):
Zahid Sarfaraz (hereon ZS):
Bro I have read lots of political structures and revolutions from the world canvas although your work and sincerity is much apriciated but really I don't understand the end result of your work what would it be?
Tanveer Ahmed (hereon TA):
Amongst the top 10 countries in the world in the 4 disciplines listed below:
1) Security
Our territory should be internally secured to prevent any future invasion or interference. After all, we inhabit the most precious territory in the world, on account of geography and resources.
2) Governance
Based on water, soil, waste and human/data management. We have to surpass the rest of the world in direct democracy, which can even be linked to enlightened autocracy if necessary.
3) Economy
Becoming a key global supply chain by creating new and reviving old land routes between Europe and Asia, particularly between Mirpur & London via Central Asia.
4) Culture
Reviving Sharda as a pre-eminent global centre of knowledge and wisdom, which is contingent upon reviving Mandirs and Gurdwaras in AJK, which itself is contingent upon giving free access to Hindus & Sikhs of Jammu Kashmir & Allied areas (JKA) to this territory.
Finally....
All the above is contingent on the public of AJK initially and the remainder of JKA understanding the merits of the above approach.
If they understand, it follows that then they will be able to mobilise peacefully, ethically, legally and democratically for such an alternative reality.
The end....for now....
....
The conversation continued on the next day (10/08/22):
ZS:
Sorry for that who will do for us all the things that you have mentioned above and why?
I think you believe in one man show which is not possible when its a collective task
Only the constitutional Assembly has the power to do so and you know that Assembly we don't have in realty
TA:
Your basic premise is faulty. No one will do anything for us, it is us who have to do everything.
Your thinking is also at fault and it is an indication that you are not trying to understand my work without preconceived notions about what is an 'individual' effort and what is a 'collective' effort.
What we don't have but need is what we have to create.
ZS:
What we have to create?
We have to create public committees and we would have to create a parallel parliament like as the zara's Russia
TA:
You are a very well read person but you have very little information about my work and how I operate. It is a pity that you have devoted so much time and energy on reading about the rise and fall of Communist Russia but you do not wish to devote much time to efforts closer to home, where your knowledge and background can be put to effective use.
Anyway, that is ok and it is not surprising....especially since we operate in a society with slavish characteristics. It isn't possible for you not to be affected.
In public interest, may I share this conversation (without using your name unless you want me to quote you) as it may prove to aid the learning process of our society?
ZS:
There is a difference between revolutionary work and the survey
Right now we need the way out from the occupation may be you have read the PNA's Basis document if not kindly read it that is also a one of the way get freedom
TA:
Many thanks for your suggestion which I have already read. It could be a matter of opinion as to what is revolutionary work and what isn't. My work is far more comprehensive than a survey (which in itself was a very comprehensive piece of work).
Judging by the conversation we have had so far, I still feel that you have not tried to understand my work to the best of your ability.
If you can please respond to this question (in reference to seeking his permission to share this conversation), I would appreciate it.
ZS:
You are much appreciated for your work
Inteed it has its own importance but its not the way out
I don't have any objecton at all because at least it could open up a debate which will be obviously in the best of public interest
End of conversation....
