Day 67 at Maqbool Bhat Shaheed Square - Dadyaal.

My punctuality deficit has decreased to 415 minutes.
I have managed to swing the deficit back to where it was a couple of days ago. It just so happens that I was 47 minutes late yesterday and by fantastic coincidence, I was 47 minutes early today. Until I don't bring the deficit back to zero, I will not achieve peace of mind.

I'm narrating the following because these matters ultimately paved the path for the political structure of India & Pakistan today. It also facilitated the gradual bilateral occupation by both countries of Jammu Kashmir & Allied areas (JKA) under the British designed 80/20 railway track (whereby India & Pakistan symmetrically agree on 80% and disagree on 20% of how to maintain their respective occupations of our territory). In short, we've been stung by the 2 nation theory which continues to paralyse the whole region:
An excerpt from my reading journey:
It is to be noted that after declaring Congress an anti-national and unlawful organization, the British masters allowed only Hindu Mahasabha and the Muslim League to function.
Most of us know that the then Communist Party of India opposed the QIM (Quit India Movement) thus betraying a great phase of mass upsurge in the history of the freedom struggle.
The Hindutva camp not only opposed QIM but also provided multifaceted and multi-dimensional support to the British rulers in suppressing this historic mass upsurge. In this connection, shocking documents are available.

Continuing with the theme of the ill-fated 2 nation theory, the following Urdu letter written by the brilliant Allama Mashriqi cannot be ignored:

If people read this Urdu letter in the right spirit, open mind & with the intention of improving the image of Pakistan, they will address its inherent hypocrisy.
