A day of respite, which had to involve ignoring everything else, except a commitment to watching the first cricket T20 World cup semi final match between England and New Zealand. Once upon a time I used to support Pakistan. Now the tables have turned and I've proved Norman Tebbit wrong (at least in my case).
A pity England lost. They could have done a bit better with the bowling at their disposal. Congratulations to New Zealand though for toughing it out and finishing with a flourish.
