The following is a notable achievement for civil society in AJK in general and Muzaffarabad in particular. We congratulate the public rights activist Shahid Awan of Muzaffarabad for his consistent struggle to introduce the concept of 'Punishment and Reward' (Saza and Jaza in Urdu) in AJK governance, hitherto unheeded to since 1947 and which has operated inversely to date. That is, those deserving a reward have been punished and vice versa:
