A different type of day in many respects. Eid is on the horizon. The Indians seem to be in a very preemptive mood across the LOC. Much of the region remains in suspense. Are Donald Trump's statements an indication of heavy-handed diplomatic maneuvering? Are we going to see further changes against our collective will in Jammu & Kashmir?
Is Gilgit the most strategic part of the geo-political chessboard? Or is the Valley more so? Or Jammu or AJK?

There is one thing that I am certain of. Neutrality is our route to freedom and control of our political destiny. We are victims of water and geography. That is also our strength if we have self-worth. If our will is as strong as the Swiss's was in 1515, then 2020 could be redemptive for us in Jammu & Kashmir.
